Raised in Australia's Country Music Capital, Dimity moved to New York to pursue a career in Art Direction. With a diverse heritage from Scandinavia, the UK, and China, she developed a deep appreciation for how food connects people. Her love for the holidays that gather loved ones around a table, like American Thanksgiving and Australian Easter, is a testament to this.
Dimity’s passion for food and creativity led her to work with top brands like Martha Stewart, Bon Appétit, and Food & Wine. She served as the Creative Director of Cooking Light and led the visual direction for WW (formerly Weight Watchers). She also freelanced as a Senior Art Director at MXM, working on national campaigns for Barilla Pasta, with heavy digital, and Social Media focus.
In 2018, Dimity launched her own full-service creative agency, offering design, strategy, branding, and more to food and beverage businesses. She further expanded her skills in 2022 by completing a UX/UI course, adding web design, app design, and user experience to her expertise.
Dimity is currently the Creative Director at CookUnity, the first chef-to-consumer platform, connecting a diverse group of talented chefs with food lovers to create an elevated at-home dining experience. She oversees a team of designers, and collaborates with several cross-functional teams on packaging, social, CRM, portfolio and the chef success community and works on-set with food and prop stylists and food photographers.
“I have been a full time, hired employee in the Creative Director role in the food & beverage industry for over 12 years.”
